Fear of Flying
It is estimated that 1 in 6 people have some form of Flying Anxiety. Some people are able to fly but find it difficult to relax during takeoff, landing and during the flight; other people are unable to get on board an aeroplane and therefore miss out on overseas holidays, visiting loved ones or are unable to attend international business meetings.
Fear of flying is prevalent at all levels of society and education. Common to all is the anxiety from the loss of control, coupled with a lack of information about an unfamiliar environment.
I have been helping people to overcome the fear of flying for over 33 years and offer a specially tailored individual programme to tackle your fears in a structured and effective way. My “Fear of Flying Programme” involves a combination of successful relaxation, mindfulness skills as well as cognitive and visualisation methods. During the sessions, you will gain a clearer understanding of fear, identify the physical feelings and move forward to discover and experience how you can, and will, feel comfortable, calm and relaxed when you fly.
